OC-21: Received a T-shirt from OCSC Shop? It’s a Scam

This fake OCSC Shop coupon message is fooling people. Here how I spotted it.

I received a text message on my personal phone number with a discount coupon for T-shirts and sweatshirts. When I checked it, I discover this is a scammer code design to track your payment information or steal personal data. Please avoid it completely.

I want to share what I found before anyone else falls for it.

I received this message on Friday, Feb 6, 2026 at 1:31 PM. It said “Claim your special discount code for OC-21 T-shirts and Sweatshits! Simply Simply enter code OC-21 at checkout on Start Shits. Visit https://ocschop.co.uk/”

The text claimed to offer a special discount on T-shirts and Sweatshirts using code OC-21 at checkout.

I almost clicked. Then I looked closer.

The Word “Simply” Is Repeat Twice

Look at the sentence structure: “Simply Simply enter code OC-21”. The word “Simply” appear twice in a row. This is a classic copy paste error that scammer make when create mass spam message. A professional marketing team would never let such an obvious mistake go out to customer.

The Brand and Website Don’t Match

This is a major red flag. The message says to use the code at checkout on “Start Fitness shirt” but the link goes to “ocschop.co.uk”. These are two completely different businesses. Why would Start Fitness shirt send you to ocschop.co.uk? Real businesses direct customers to their own official websites, not random unrelated domains.

The URL Has a Typo

Look at the link carefully: https://ocschop.co.uk/ it says “ocschop” but the product is “OC-21” for what appear to be OCSC merchandise. The URL is missing letters or is intentionally misspelled. Scammers often use slightly misspelled domain name to trick victim. This technique is call typosquatting.

I Investigated Further

I searched for “ocschop.co.uk” and “OCSC Shop” to verify if this was a legitimate clothing store. I found no verified coupon code.

I also searched for the OC-21 coupon code and found no legitimate promotion associated with it on any verified retailer.

This message is a scam. Here I apply coupon on mentioned site but coupon is not verified.

How to Protect Yourself

  • Do not click any link it leads shorturl to an unverified website.
  • Do not use the OC-21 code anywhere – it may be tracking your activity.
  • Do not trust messages with spelling errors like “Sweatshits”.
  • Do not believe messages where the brand name and website don’t match.
  • Do not fall for vague “special discount” offers with no percentage stated.
  • Delete the message immediately.
  • Block the sender.
  • Report as spam.

Warning to All Customer

If you or anyone you know receive this OC-21 coupon message, do not use it. I received this same scam message and I’m warning everyone to stay away from it. Scammer are using fake T-shirt and sweatshirt discount to trick people into clicking malicious link.

The errors in this message are obvious:

  • “Sweatshits” – misspelled product name.
  • “Simply Simply” – repeated word.
  • “Start Shits to “ocschop.co.uk” brand mismatch.
  • No discount amount – vague offer.

Real clothing retailers don’t make these mistakes. Anyone who enters their payment information on ocschop.co.uk risks having their financial data stolen.

“The OC-21 coupon from OCSC Shop is a scam. Too many errors to trust.”
