royd-195: Received a Robroyd Farm Shop Coupon? It’s a Scam

This fake 19% OFF coupon message is fooling people. Here’s how I spotted it.

One of my online website Discount Agent customers received a Telegram message with a discount coupon. When I checked it, I discovered this is a scammer code designed to track your payment information or steal personal data. Please avoid it completely.

I want to share what I found before anyone else falls for it.

The message came at 12:57 and said “We’re giving you an an exclusive Use coupon 19% OFF use coupon royd-195, valid until January 30, 2026. Use the link https://www.robroydfarmshop.co.uk/”

The text claimed to offer a Limited Time Offer with 19% OFF using code royd-195 at Robroyd Farm Shop website robroydfarmshop.co.uk, valid until January 30, 2026.

My customer almost clicked. Then I looked closer.

The Word “An” Is Repeated Twice

The very first line has an obvious error. The message says “We’re giving you an an exclusive” the word “an” appears twice in a row. No legitimate business sends promotional messages with such careless copy-paste mistakes. This immediately exposes the scam.

The Sentence Structure Is Broken

The message is completely jumbled. It says “Use coupon 19% OFF use coupon royd-195” – the words “use coupon” appear twice and the sentence makes no grammatical sense. A proper message would say “Use coupon royd-195 to get 19% OFF”. This broken structure shows the message was poorly generated by scammers.

The Discount Percentage Is Unusual

19% OFF is a very odd discount amount. Real businesses use round numbers like 10%, 15%, 20%, or 25% for promotions. The random 19% suggests this number was made up to sound specific but believable. Legitimate farm shop don’t send random 19% discounts to unknown number.

I Investigate Further

I search for “Robroyd Farm Shop” and “robroydfarmshop.co.uk” to verify if this was a legitimate business:

  • The website exists but I could not verify if this message actually came from them
  • Legitimate businesses do not send unsolicited WhatsApp messages with broken grammar
  • The royd-195 coupon code appears suspicious and untraceable

I search for the royd-195 coupon code and found no legitimate promotion associated with it.

The scammer may be impersonating Robroyd Farm Shop or using their name to steal personal and payment information from unsuspecting customer.

This message is a scam.

How to Protect Yourself

  • Do not click the robroydfarmshop.co.uk link from this message – verify directly by typing the URL yourself
  • Do not use the royd-195 code it may be designed to track your information
  • Do not trust WhatsApp messages with grammar errors and broken sentences
  • Do not enter payment information on websites linked from suspicious messages
  • Delete the message immediately
  • Block the sender
  • Report as spam on WhatsApp

Warning to All Customers

If you or anyone you know received this royd-195 coupon message, do not use it. Scammers are sending these fake discount codes hoping someone will click and enter their payment details.

The message with “an an exclusive” and “use coupon use coupon” errors is clearly not from a professional business. Anyone who enters their credit card or personal information through this link risks having their payment information tracked and stolen.

Real promotions come from verified business accounts with proper grammar – not anonymous WhatsApp messages with repeated words and broken sentences.

“The royd-195 coupon message is a scam. Stay safe and protect your information.”
