My friend told me about a discount coupon he got in a message. He was really excite to buy tickets for The Orchestra of The Age of Enlightenment and he thought it was a brilliant deal.
When I had a look at the message, I realise it was a scammer code. It was design to track his activity or steal his personal data. Please avoid it completely. I want to share what I found before anyone else falls for it.
The Message My Friend Got
My friend got a message that said: “Unlock your exclusive discount on The Orchestra of The Age of Enlightenment tickets with the code zoox18! Simply apply the code at checkout to save on your next purchase. Don’t miss out visit https://tickets.oae.co.uk/ and grab your tickets today!”
The message claimed to offer an exclusive discount using the code zoox18 on the Orchestra of The Age of Enlightenment ticket website. My friend loves classical music and he was already plan to go to a concert. This discount look perfect for him.
He almost click on it. Then I had a closer look. I even tried the zoox18 coupon code myself, but it didn’t work at all.
No Discount Percentage Mentioned
The message says “exclusive discount” and “save on your next purchase,” but it never tell you how much you actually save.
Is it 10% off? 20% off? 50% off? Nobody know. Real promotional messages always mention the discount amount clearly. When an offer stays vague and doesn’t mention any specific saving, that a big red flag.
The Code “zoox18” Has No Connection to the Orchestra
The coupon code “zoox18” has nothing to do with The Orchestra of The Age of Enlightenment. It doesn’t match their branding, their ticketing system, or any campaign they have run.
Real business use promotional code that relate to their brand, a specific event, or a season. A random string like “zoox18” looks more like a tracking code that scammers use to see who clicks their links.

Scammer often pretend to be real brands to make their messages look trustworthy. They use the name & website of a legitimate business, but they send fake coupon codes to trick people.
I search for the zoox18 coupon code online, and I couldn’t find any proof that it’s a real promotion. I even tried the coupon on the mentioned site myself, and it didn’t work. The code isn’t verified, and it doesn’t give any discount at all.
What Do Scammers Actually Want From You?
When scammers send fake codes like zoox18, they have clear goals in mind:
- They want to track who clicks their links.
- They want to collect your personal information.
- They want to steal your payment details through dodgy checkout pages.
- They want to watch your online behaviour for future scam targeting.
- They want to build a list of active users so they can send more scams later.

The zoox18 code isn’t a real discount. It’s a fake coupon that’s designed to lure classical music fans into clicking dodgy links and handing over their personal and financial information.

If you got this message or anything similar, here what you should do:
