I received an email this morning that nearly caught me off guard, and I want to share what I found before anyone else falls for it.
The email appeared to be from Dolls Kill, the popular alternative fashion retailer. It claimed there was a “major system glitch” and offered an exclusive coupon code: 7644fg.j-7doll. The message urged me to click a link immediately to “secure my discount” before it expired.
I almost clicked. Then I looked closer.
The Red Flags I Spotted
The email was riddled with problems. The grammar was atrocious phrases like “We’re experiencug for major system glitch” and “Click seent ink $ urgent link” made no sense whatsoever. The sign-off read “I apolled your ans maourt aAPP your loone stay prave prouted you” which is complete gibberish.
The sender address showed [email protected], but the reply-to address was [email protected] a completely different domain. That’s a classic phishing tactic.
What I Did Next
I went directly to the official Dolls Kill website at dollskill.com to check for any legitimate promotions. There was nothing about a system glitch. No mention of the 7644fg.j-7doll code anywhere.
This email is a scam.

How to Protect Yourself
Do not click any links in suspicious emails. Do not enter the 7644fg.j-7doll code anywhere. If you want genuine Dolls Kill deals, visit their official website directly.
Legitimate companies proofread their emails. Scammers don’t.
