This fake 67% OFF coupon message is fooling people. Here how I spotted it.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of my online website Discount Agent<\/strong> customers received a text message on their personal phone number with a discount coupon. When I checked it, I discovered this is a scammer code<\/strong> designed to track your payment information<\/strong> or steal personal data. Please avoid it completely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I want to share what I found before anyone else falls for it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The message came from phone number +1 (225) 470-4522<\/strong> at 7:11 PM<\/strong>. It said “Hello! We are grateful to have you as part of our community, and to show our appreciation, enjoy 67% off your purchase. Simply use code PRED-670 at checkout and start shopping here: https:\/\/www.pred.store\/”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The phone itself flag this message with a warning: “The sender is not in your contact list”<\/strong> and displayed a “Report Junk”<\/strong> button. Even the phone know something is wrong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My customer almost clicked. Then I looked closer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Phone Itself Warns You<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This is the first and most obvious sign. The phone display “The sender is not in your contact list”<\/strong> at the bottom of the message with a clear “Report Junk”<\/strong> option. When your own phone warns you about a message, take it seriously. Apple and Android devices have built-in spam detection for a reason this message triggered it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Discount Is Absurdly High<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

67% off<\/strong> your entire purchase? That more than two-thirds off the price. No legitimate business offers 67% discount to random strangers through text messages. Real promotions typically offer 10%, 15%, or 20% off. Some seasonal sales go up to 30% or 40%. But 67%<\/strong> is a number no real business would give away to unknown phone numbers. This screams scam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Phone Number Is Suspicious<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The message came from +1 (225) 470-4522<\/strong> which is a US area code 225 (Louisiana)<\/strong>. This is a random personal phone number, not a verified business short code. Real businesses send SMS promotions from official short codes or verified business numbers not random Louisiana phone numbers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Appreciation Tactic Is Manipulation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The message says “to show our appreciation, enjoy 67% off”<\/strong> as if they are rewarding your loyalty. But you never bought anything from them. You never signed up. There’s nothing to appreciate. This emotional manipulation is designed to make you feel special so you click without questioning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I Investigated Further:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

I searched for “pred.store”<\/strong> to verify if this was a legitimate online shop. I found no verified business registration<\/strong>. No authentic customer reviews. No official social media presence. No company contact information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I search for the PRED-670<\/strong> coupon code and found no legitimate promotion<\/strong> associate with it on any verified retailer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This message is a scam.<\/strong> Here I apply coupon on mentioned site but coupon is not verified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Do click<\/strong> the “Report Junk”<\/strong> button when your phone warns you about unknown senders<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Do not use<\/strong> the PRED-670<\/strong> code anywhere \u2013 it may track your activity<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Do not trust<\/strong> messages offering 67% discounts from unknown numbers<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Do not believe<\/strong> false community claims from strangers<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Delete<\/strong> the message immediately<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Block<\/strong> the number +1 (225) 470-4522<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Report<\/strong> as spam to your carrier<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Warning to All Customers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    If you or anyone you know received this PRED-670<\/strong> coupon message from +1 (225) 470-4522<\/strong>, do not use it<\/strong>. Scammers are sending these fake discount codes to random phone numbers hoping someone will click and enter their payment details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The phone own warning “The sender is not in your contact list”<\/strong> is telling you everything you need to know. When a device built to protect you raises a red flag, trust it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Anyone who enters their credit card or personal information on pred.store<\/strong> risks having their payment information tracked and stolen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Real businesses don’t offer 67% off<\/strong> to strangers through random text messages. Real businesses don’t send 67 spam messages<\/strong> to unknown numbers. Real businesses use verified sender IDs, not Louisiana phone numbers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
