The email appeared to be a coupon offer from NYKD. It claimed I could get a free small drink at any “Freshtown” store by using the coupon code nykd-54<\/span><\/strong>. The message urged me to use this one-time coupon between December 21st, 2025 and January last end month 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I almost believe it. Then I looked closer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Something Felt Wrong About This Email<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The email was riddled with problem. The first thing I noticed was the sender address show notifications@typeform.com<\/a><\/strong> instead of any official NYKD domain. Typeform is a survey platform that anyone can use to send emails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The email said “Happy summer!” but the dates mentioned were December 21st to and January last end month 2026. That is winter, not summer. This makes absolutely no sense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
